Heaps of Video

We hit the streets and interviewed a Member of Parliament, the town Mayor, two high school principles, a banker, accountant, lawyer, other immigrants, and more, to give you a true sense of what daily Kiwi life is all about. 16 videos in all!

Here is a sample from an interview with Chef Colin Ashton who immigrated to New Zealand and started a world class restaurant.

Meet the Authors

Hello from the Dalton family! We recently realized a life long dream and immigrated to New Zealand from the United States. During the almost year long process of our immigration we realised it is really hard to find good information on New Zealand. Other than a few expat forums and blogs we felt we had to really dig to find anything current about immigrating to, and then living in, New Zealand.

This research was fundamentally important to us because we moved to New Zealand without ever having visited! We were following an inner calling and really had to trust our instincts and do a metric ton of research to build up to the decision to sell everything we own and immigrate.

Once we settled and found our home we set ourselves to creating this iBook so that anyone coming after will have all the benefit of the things we learned along the way.

Almost forgot to mention: check out our music while you are here!
